Share a Ride

Are you driving in from out of state and have an extra seat in your car? Are you renting a car in Chicago and want to spread the cost? Do you need a ride from the airport? Do you want to carpool with others to the conference site from your hotel? Do you want to save gas money and the environment by sharing a ride?

If you are interested in connecting with other conference attendees about sharing rides, post your needs here.

Howdy! I'm coming from Saint Paul MN and would love to travel together with some folks. Right now I'm planning to go by Megabus which is $40 RT. This is an express bus service so the travel time is a tolerable 8 hours. If others want to go that way it would be nice to sit together. You can find them at Megabus.com.

BETER YET... if someone is driving and wants a passenger to share costs, I'd jump at that. If so, please let me know soon... I don't want to wait too long to make the bus reservaton.

Thanks!

Tim

Re: transportation on late Thursday afternoon, July 19th, from Midway airport to the conference site

Karen Sloan here. My current plan is to take public transportation from the airport to near the conference site on Thursday afternoon. But if anyone will be near the Chicago/Midway Airport area and would be able to pick me up before going to the conference, it would be fun to carpool with you. My flight is scheduled to arrive at 4:30 p.m., so I should be available to meet up anytime after then. To coordinate further, my email is flirtingwithmonasticism(at)gmail(dot)com. Joy!
